The CTCSOL

The CTCSOL test, sponsored by the Chinese-Foreign Language Exchange and Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education, is an international standardized assessment for individuals aspiring to teach the Chinese language globally. It evaluates candidates in five key areas: Basics in Chinese Language Teaching, Chinese Language Teaching Methodology, Instructional Design and Classroom Management, Chinese Culture and Cross-cultural Communication, and Professional Ethics and Disciplinary Development.

Recognized by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC), the CTCSOL certificate is the sole accreditation accepted for teaching Chinese in over 1,500 Confucius Institutes and Classrooms across 132 countries.
